Training and Placement Cell is a core area of our institution.
It is an established fact that arranging proper placement in today's world of cut- throat competition is not an easy task.
The cell continuously co-ordinates with the shipping industries, organizations and institutions for placement of the students and helps in developing the industry-academic inter-relationship.
TCMT presently have tied up with 3 shipping companies and will arrange Campus / Off Campus interviews by the Indian / Foreign Shipping Companies for its successful candidates.
Arrangement of a Campus/Off Campus Interview is dependent on following factors:
- Academic Records
- Candidate´s overall performance during Pre-sea training
- Candidate´s command over English language
- Appearance and attitude of the Candidate
- Meeting companies´ specific requirements
Also to note that the majority of Ex-TCMT candidates have been placed in reputed shipping companies through the Placement Cell of TCMT. The Institute also prepares its candidates through exclusive training and guidance to undertake the stiff competition towards interviews / selection criteria of different shipping companies.
